The aim of the project is to approach the space without barrier between interior and exterior.

Partition between functional spaces respect privacy and allows that in every time you can enjoy of the courtyard/garden.

The used materials are natural, from the wood to the cotto tiles.

Photovoltaic panels on the roof allow electrical energy self production.

The construction technologies used are X-lam panel and traditional timber frame roof.

External walls have a thermal insulation coating with plaster finishing.
The X-Lam panel can be described as a solid woodpanel made of cross-laminated and glued timber, commonly known as X-Lam Panel (Cross Laminated Timber).

It is a natural but highly engineered product used as a structural panel for walls, floors and roofs in building constructions, even of several floors, characterized by hight energy saving and low environmental impact.
The panels are composed of layers of overlapping grain crossed planks and glued together.

Panels that we use are made by a “short” production chain” done entirely by the manufacturer with italian coniferous wood from the sustainable forest management with certified safekeeping linea.

The X-Lam panel allows, thanks to the engineering of the production process, fast and very precise assembly, also decreasing construction time thanks to the dry laying by means of mechanical connections.Its flexibility of use ensures great possibility of modulability and finally, thanks to the reduction of structural thickness, a significant benefit in terms of increase net usable surface.
