The idea for this project was to design comfortable apartment for a family with two children, according to clients wishes and budget. The main focus was on the semi-open kitchen with sliding doors and living area. The kitchen was designed with as little possible installation changes. Water and gas installations remain as they are as well as the position of the kitchen door. Central heating boiler is “hidden” inside the kitchen cupboards. Adaptation of the space does not require any major construction work, except removing the piece of wall between kitchen and living area and necessary work on electrical installations for oven, fridge and lighting.
The living area and the kitchen are connected through sliding/folding door. The door makes the whole with custom made shelving piece of furniture. The position of corner sofa and dining table for 6 persons (with extension) provide the maximum use of space in the living area.
There is a possibility of creating another bathroom inside master bedroom. Bathroom installations are connected to the installations of the existing bathroom. The access is provided exclusively through master bedroom. The existing bathroom is also used as guest bathroom.
