The Design Challenge of the New Building in Jammu was to express and celebrate the years of hard and dedicated work started in year 1933 and give the building a unique expressing character.

The Design of the building follows the functional approach by applying a simple flexible Floor Plan , while the exterior provides the building with a unique character and gives the working spaces with the required light and ventilation .

The Building can be fragmented into 4 main layers the base where the site is and how the design interacts with the given site and makes the best use of it , while the other layer is the Building slabs that give the possibility of functional approach for the office areas and other uses , The third layer is the Building skin that plays a big role in both the identity of the building and the main supply of the light and ventilation , The last layer will be the new experience of the green roof in such office buildings , this layer will increase the quality of working environment and increase the interaction between the users and the building.
