L'obiettivo del progetto è la realizzazione di uno spazio che sia contemporaneamente in grado di comunicare prestigio e qualità del vivere. L'immagine ricercata è quella di uno spazio pienamente contemporaneo ma elegante ed austero, luminoso e capace di produrre un'effetto d'ampiezza.
Per ottenere questo ho preso spunto dal vostro suggerimento relativamente alle lampade a soffitto che emulano la luce solare. Ho voluto giocare con l'identità di questo luogo, trattandolo come una galleria urbana, su cui si affaccino delle case, con i riquadri ricavati nella parete che ne imitano le finestre, e le lampade a soffitto che imitano I lucernari di copertura. Le “finestre” su un lato sono rivestite con degli specchi, che ampliano lo spazio percepito e ne aumentano la luminosità. Sulla parete di fronte la specchiatura è in marmo, per evitare un fastidioso gioco di riflessi . Il montante centrale delle bifore è rivestito in ottone. A causa delle dimensioni e del prezzo ancora molto elevato non è stato possibile inserire le lampade Coelux (necessitano di uno spazio posteriore di almeno un metro) e ho scelto delle lampade led ad incasso di forma quadrata con un ingombro molto ridotto (circa 7 cm).
Per realizzare questo effetto le pareti vengono traslate verso l'interno di 12 cm (l'ingombro dei vecchi copricaloriferi). In questo modo i nuovi termosifoni possono essere collocati all'interno di due nicchie. I termosifoni proposti hanno comunque un ingombro molto ridotto.
Per il rivestimento delle pareti sono stati impiegati pannelli in legno di ciliegio con inserti orizzontali in ottone, che imitano il trattamento a fasce sulle pareti esterne dei palazzi. L'ordine superiore ospita delle lampade led lineari ad incasso, che illuminano l'ambiente di luce indiretta proiettandola verso il soffitto. Lo zoccolo è in marmo lucidato giallo "Silvia oro", così come il rivestimento delle pareti di fondo. Il controsoffitto è ribassato di 9 cm come il precedente, di colore RAL 9001, ed accoglie i corpi illuminanti: led ad incasso quadrati e a sviluppo lineare.
Il pavimento viene realizzato con due marmi: perimetro in rosso “breccia pernice” e specchiatura interna in giallo “silvia oro”, lucidati.
Le cassette della posta sono state mantenute nella posizione precedente. Al fine di poterle incassare nella parete di fondo, questa è stata traslata in avanti, compatibilmente con la presenza del serramento. Al di sotto del casellario è stato ricavato un vano per pacchi, riviste, ecc. La bacheca degli avvisi viene spostata sulla parete adiacente, prevedendo di collocarla in una specchiatura di cm 50x70 ricavata nel rivestimento marmoreo.
Il portone d'ingresso non viene modificato. La porta dell'ascensore viene riverniciata di colore RAL 3005. Il serramento largo alla sinistra dell'ascensore è stato ridisegnato con telaio in tinta ciliegio, modanature orizzontali e zoccolo in ottone, e specchiature in vetro opaco.
The goal of the project is the creation of a space that's both able to communicate prestige and quality of life. The image sought is that of a space fully contemporary, elegant and austere, bright and capable of producing an effect of amplitude.
To achieve this I was inspired by your recommendation of the ceiling lamps that emulate sunlight. I wanted to play with the identity of this place, treating it as an urban gallery, on which opening the houses, with the boxes provided in the wall that mimic the windows, and ceiling lamps that mimic Skylights coverage. The “windows” on one side are realised with mirrors, which expand the space and increase the perceived brightness. On the opposite wall “windows” are made of marble, to avoid an annoying game of reflexes. The central pillar of the mullioned windows is coated brass. Due to the size and the price (it's very high) it was not possible to insert the lamps Coelux (needing a rear space of at least one meter) and I chose LED lamps with a very small footprint (about 7 cm) .
To achieve this effect the walls are shifted toward the inside of 12 cm (the dimensions of the old radiators). In this way the new heaters can be placed inside two niches. The new radiators still have a very small footprint.
For wall cladding I propose panels in cherry wood with horizontal brass inserts, that mimic the treatment bands on the outer walls of the buildings. The higher order includes linear LED recessed lamps that illuminate the environment of indirect light projecting it toward the ceiling. The plinth is polished yellow marble "Silvia gold", as well as the lining of the walls of the bottom. The false ceiling is lowered by 9 cm as the previous one, and it's painted RAL 9001, that includes the lighting fixtures: led recessed lamps with square and linear shape.
The floor is made of two marbles: perimeter in red "Breccia pernice" and inner sides in yellow "Silvia gold", both polished.
The mailboxes have been retained in the previous position. In order to collect them in the bottom wall, this has been shifted forward, consistent with the presence of the window. Below the record has been created a space for parcels, magazines, etc. The notice board is moved on the adjacent wall, expecting to place it in a mirror of 50x70 cm carved in marble covering.
The main entrance is not modified. The elevator door is repainted color RAL 3005. The window off to the left of the lift has been redesigned with frame in cherry color, horizontal moldings and plinth brass, mirrors and opaque glass.
