Nella mia proposta mi trovo d’accordo con le demolizioni, ricostruzioni ed ampliamento aperture del vostro progetto, che ho quindi tenuto come linea guida, apportando solo alcune modifiche o ampliamenti: demolirei, infatti, l’intera parete che separa il living dalla cucina, creerei tre nicchie, realizzate con il cartongesso, una in cucina per l’armadiatura per forno e frigorifero, una per il camino, ora con un appeal più moderno, con legnaia a vista e, l’ultima, in ingresso, per esporre suppellettili e libri, con alcuni vani illuminati con faretti. Nella camera matrimoniale propongo di creare una quinta in cartongesso, sulla quale poggia il letto, per separare la cabina armadio, alla quale si accede con una porta scorrevole in vetro.
Ho preferito mantenere il layout attuale, che mostra dall’ingresso la zona living e creare un’atmosfera pranzo avvolgente e familiare, grazie al camino e alla panca sottofinestra, molto utile anche nel caso servissero più posti pranzo, allungando il tavolo. La continuità tra living e cucina è sottolineata dalla lunga parete, ma i due ambienti sono poi caratterizzati dai rivestimenti verticali, in listelli di pietra per la zona living e da una boiserie in legno per la zona cucina. Legno, pietra e tessuti di cotone naturali creano un mood shabby, ma con equilibrio, sottolineato poi dalle ante incorniciate della cucina, dalle maniglie a vista e da alcuni tocchi in ferro.
Un altro punto funzionale e confortevole è rappresentato dalla zona snack, con piano in legno e sgabelli, che può ospitare comodamente quattro persone.
L’intera abitazione è luminosa e ben illuminata grazie ai controsoffitti con faretti da incasso che illuminano in modo funzionale gli ambienti, mettendo in evidenza i passaggi e le zone di lavoro. Alcune pareti, quella d’ingresso, la parete in pietra del living, quella della testata del letto e quella dei due lavandini in bagno, sono illuminate da strisce a led che creano un effetto luce a cascata scenografico e avvolgente.
Vi consiglierei di sostituire il pavimento esistente con un pavimento in legno per dare un aspetto più caldo ed avvolgente, oppure, per una maggiore funzionalità, con un gres porcellanato effetto legno.
Nel corridoio trova spazio un’ampia armadiatura ripostiglio per scope ed elettrodomestici e un’armadiatura per lavatrice, asciugatrice e cesta per il bucato.
Nel bagno la nicchia è molto funzionale per inserire una comoda doccia, sulla parete lunga trova spazio un contenitore sospeso con base per due catini d’appoggio, il pensile contenitivo è a specchio ed illuminato.
Anche per la camera dei ragazzi sfrutterei l’altezza del soffitto con armadiature a ponte a tutta parete sopra i due letti ad una piazza e mezza e, nella parete opposta, realizzerei una libreria/armadiatura sempre a ponte dedicata a zona studio.
Credo che la vostra casa abbia una bel potenziale e spero che la mia proposta incontri i vostri gusti, sono a disposizione per eventuali chiarimenti.

In my proposal I agree with the demolitions, reconstructions and widening openings of your project, which I therefore kept as a guideline, making only some changes or extensions: in fact, I would demolish the entire wall that separates the living room from the kitchen, I would create three niches, made with plasterboard, one in the kitchen for the cabinet for oven and refrigerator, one for the fireplace, now with a modern appeal with exposed woodshed and, the last one, at the entrance, to display furnishings and books, with some rooms illuminated with spotlights.
In the master bedroom I propose to create a plasterboard wing, on which the bed rests, to separate the walk-in closet, with a sliding glass door.
I preferred to keep the current layout, which shows the living area from the entrance and create an enveloping and familiar dining atmosphere, thanks to the fireplace and the bench under the window, very useful even if more dining seats are needed, by extending the table. The continuity between the living room and the kitchen is emphasized by the long wall, but the two rooms are also characterized by vertical claddings, in stone strips for the living area and by a wooden panelling for the kitchen area. Wood, stone and natural cotton fabrics create a shabby mood, but with balance, then underlined by the framed kitchen doors, the exposed handles and some iron touches.
Another functional and comfortable point is represented by the snack area, with wooden top and stools, which can comfortably accommodate four people.
The house is bright and well lit thanks to the false ceilings with recessed spotlights that functionally illuminate the rooms, highlighting the passages and work areas. Four walls, the one at the entrance, the stone wall in the living room, that of the head of the bed and that of the two sinks in the bathroom, are illuminated by LED strips that create a scenographic and enveloping wash- light effect.
I would recommend replacing the existing floor with a wooden floor to give a warmer and more enveloping look, or, for greater functionality, with a wood-effect porcelain stoneware.
In the corridor there is a large closet for brooms and appliances and a closet for washing machine, dryer and laundry basket.
In the bathroom, the niche is very functional for inserting a comfortable shower, on the long wall there is space for a suspended container with a base for two support basins, the containing wall unit is mirrored and illuminated.
Also for the children's room, I would take advantage of the height of the ceiling with full-wall bridge wardrobes above the two single-and-a-half beds and, on the opposite wall, I would create a library / wardrobes, again as a bridge, dedicated to the study area.
