Inserire quattro posti letto in meno di dodici metri quadri, ovvero l'area a disposizione oltre il wc e la cucina, sembra un lavoro quasi impossibile... a meno che non si sfrutti l'altezza. In questa proposta l'unico grande intervento che viene proposto è un arredo su misura che non solo contiene i due letti, di cui uno utilizzabile come divano durante il giorno e spazi contenitori dove riporre abiti e accessori, ma che renda coerente lo spazio e lo uniformi.
Un rivestimento in legno, infatti, copre il cubo che racchiude il wc (quest'ultimo non oggetto di intervento—VEDI IPOTESI CON MODIFICA AL WC) e diventa la base per il divano e primo letto. Sotto al materasso è possibile recuperare un grande vano contenitore. Dalle scale, i cui gradini sono tutti apribili e utilizzabili, si accede all'armadio sulla destra (al posto dell'esistente in giallo) e al letto superiore. Quest'ultimo, quando in disuso, si mimetizza sul soffitto come se fosse un controsoffitto, in cui è presente anche l'illuminazione a faretti; all'occorrenza, tramite un sistema in acciaio nascosto sia a soffitto che a parete, la piattaforma può abbassarsi fino al livello dell'ultimo gradino, offrendo il secondo posto letto.Entrambi hanno una bellissima visuale verso il mare, che entra ancora di più nella stanza grazie al nuovo infisso scorrevole a pacchetto, che si apre completamente.
A disposizione dei due letti ci sono rispettivamente due nicchie illuminate, utilizzabili sia come comodino che come mini-libreria.
Il pavimento della piccola saletta, tranne per quanto riguarda cucina e wc, verrà cambiato in parquet (o listelli in vinile, più sottili e meno dispendiosi), per riprendere il calore del legno del mobile e dividere visivamente l'ambiente.
Per concludere l'uniformità della stanza, si è pensato a un piccolo intervento sulla cucina, ovvero la sostituzione delle maniglie: da quelle cromate ad alcune in legno, così da inserire questo materiale un po' ovunque.
Si propone anche una possibile variazione al wc, che non stravolga l'idea progettuale: in questo modo si ricava un ulteriore armadiatura e si riduce il wc al minimo indispensabile: lavabo su misura, vaso e doccia.

Inserting four beds in less than twelve square meters, that is the area available beyond the toilet and the kitchen, seems an almost impossible joB... unless you take advantage of the height. In this proposal, the only major intervention that is proposed is a custom-made furniture that not only contains the two beds, one of which can be used as a sofa during the day and storage spaces for storing clothes and accessories, but which uniforms the space.
A wooden cladding, in fact, covers the cube that encloses the toilet (the latter not subject to intervention—SEE HYPOTHESIS WITH MODIFICATION TO THE WC) and becomes the basis for the sofa and first bed. A large storage compartment can be found under the mattress. From the stairs, whose steps can all be opened and used, you can access the wardrobe on the right (instead of the existing one in yellow) and the upper bed. The latter, when out of use, camouflages itself on the ceiling as if it were a false ceiling, in which there is also spotlight lighting; if necessary, through a steel system hidden both on the ceiling and on the wall, the platform can be lowered to the level of the last step, offering the second sleeping place.
Both have a beautiful view towards the sea, which enters even further into the room thanks to the new folding window frame, which opens completely. There are two illuminated niches for the two beds, which can be used both as a bedside table and as a mini-bookcase.
The floor of the small room, except for the kitchen and toilet, will be changed to parquet (or vinyl strips, thinner and less expensive), to recover the warmth of the wood of the furniture and visually divide the environment.
To conclude the uniformity of the room, there is a small intervention on the kitchen, that is the replacement of the handles: from the chromed ones to some in wood, so as to insert this material everywhere.
A possible variation to the toilet is also proposed, which does not change much the design idea: in this way an additional wardrobe is obtained and the toilet is reduced to the bare minimum: custom-made washbasin, toilet and shower.
