COCONTEST - "My New House" - Architect David Sousa AIM: I suggested a method to choose a renovation with a principal aim of creating a open space area. MATERIALS: White Brick; Concrete; Wood Pine; White painted walls.black tiles glossy. Description: The main materials at principal area: wood pine,white brick,black tiles glossy, concrete, gives the perfect contrast and also makes the division of the total open space. We can see the division with 2ways: materials, and visually at the middle (dinner area) with different roof hights. Private Area main objective: To give the main room a option to have a dressing room and a private bathroom, creating a unic and magnificiant Suite. The other 2 bedrooms have a comun bathroom that serves also as service wc. The option to create a independent area for Laundry/Storage gives the liberty to have a area of services inside the house. MAterials main bathroom (also could be used at the second wc) : White small tiles, black & white tiles with one wall giving all the contrast in wood pine. With the furniture in black glossy gives the bathroom a high elegancy level. The principal objectives in the design approach was To amplify the sense of openness of all the areas of the house and to create not only a house, but "the house". Best regards, Arch. David Sousa
