This project is the result of our best intentions to create the perfect home for you to live in. After analyzing your needs and requests, we came up with what we think will be both functionally and aesthetically your best match. Making focus in every single detail is what we aim to.
/MORFOLOGY & IMPLANTATION:
Your terrain lays in a beautiful valley in the city of Caserta, surrounded by hills and plenty of vegetation. The tallest mountains are in the north west and in the opposite south west of the project. Stronger winds come from the west and the clearest sunniest orientation is the North East. It is fundamental to understand surroundings to implant the house in the most beneficial spot. This decision will also affect the morphology of the house as to make the most out of the terrain.
All this being said, we decided to make the house in a rectangular way next to the non-sunniest wall of the terrain. In this way the house will receive the maximum possible light in exterior and interior spaces.
The house is designed by placing two boxes one on top of the other and a movement that generates patios which allow the exterior to bond with interior spaces. By making this long rectangles the lot is not being divided into two but it becomes a whole, where all spaces are integrated and the park is an active part of the house. The shutters allow you to select which weather you want a space with more sun control and privacy or a big open space.
/DESIGN & STYLE:
The modern design of the project allows the house to work in the most functional possible way, with big, comfortable and open spaces. With the implementation of sun shutters clearer in the ground floor with white metal structures and wooden ones in the top floor the user of the house can decide whether to keep spaces opened or closed and to regulate the amount of light that enters the property.
/EXTERIOR SPACES:
Following the idea that there will be a future road we left the entrance right where it was and started to create functional spaces from there. We created two parking's, the first one is a covered one for owners and the second one is for guests. Of course, both could be covered or not depending on preferences.
-Entrance: The entrance to the house is through a concrete platform way that´s followed by vegetation on its sides. Entering under the 1 floor slab helps create some shadow and shelter in case of bad weather, where the car could be parked as well.
-Pool: The pool is situated on the sunniest part of the lot where this place can get the most advantage of in the coolest season of the year. Next to the pool lays a deck for sun tanning made out of WPC (wooden plastic composite) which is intended to be everlasting and do not require maintenance.
-BBQ: The barbeque place is under the shade of a reinforced concrete slab, which contains a volume made out of stacked stone where the barbeque and a table with a washbasin are. A big table made out of wood and Dektone countertop is where people would sit to enjoy the meal.
-Relax Area: Consequently, to the BBQ space we find an exterior table to eat in the days where the weather allows it, and right beside it there is a low coffee table with a fire pit to enjoy in chilliest conditions.
-Dog Park: Because your dogs also deserve some place to run, have fun and have a great time we decided to create this space for them. At the corner end of the terrain, we designed this park with sand for them that can be enclosed with a fenced if needed.
/INTERIOR SPACES:
GROUND FLOOR: -
-Entrance: Right when you enter the house by the glass windows and shutters you bump into a stacked stone wall that has the kitchen in the backside of it and has shelfs in this side to leave keys, a jacket and even shoes if wanted to.
-Kitchen: The kitchen is an open space that is connected to the living room and has this large comfortable table that contains the stove, oven, washbasin and has place to cook. There is also space to sit and maybe have some quick meal such as breakfast. After this cooking table we have the formal table made for 10 people.
-Livingroom: This place is the center of the project, which is opened to the exterior, to the kitchen and looks to this big wooden box that contain the stairs and the toilette. In the Livingroom we can find a firepit for winter time ,a large comfortable sofa and the TV place.
-Laundry: The Laundry place is after the hallway and has room to hang cloth, several washing machines and dryers.
-Studio 1: This first Studio place is in front of the Patio, where this peaceful place will help make a relaxed calm space for high concentration tasks.
-Sauna & Gym: The Sauna and the gym are at the end part of the ground floor plan. The Sauna is also facing the patio to create this calm environment. The gym is opened to the exterior places and faces the park.
FIRST FLOOR:
-STUDIO 2: This second studio is a place to work in a much more relaxed place connected to the other parts of the house.
-LIVINGROOM/PLAYROOM: Opened space in the first floor to watch some movies and tv or simply rest in the couch.
-ROOM 4 & 3: Two rooms that face the park downstairs. One opening and suite bathroom
-ROOM 2: This is the second biggest room and has two openings and suite bathroom.
-ROOM 1: The main room in the house with 3 windows and a panoramically view. Big bathroom with wardrobe.
