Thank you for the unique opportunity to design challenge to improve the existing modest, introverted house at the beautiful location, in accordance with your request, by reconstruction into a modern, functional building.
The defined position of the existing building on the south part of the plot and the constructive massive assembly represents a specific design challenge.
The architectural concept of the remodeled design is based on center of the house as gathering point, also biophilic principle of the interior design to improve living conditions.
The house consists of an entrance, newly formed veranda, linear kitchen with a dining room and enclosed storage, living room, bathroom, two bedrooms, a staircase to the upper floor, master room with a ‘Ensuite’ bathroom, an external room for equipment/service.
Interior redesign was conceived with minimal interventions. The concept of contemporary design, a space of unified living room where kitchen and dining room occupy a central position, connection with the yard. The staircase to the upper floor has changed, the bathroom was moved to the area next to the entrance in the northern part of the house. A new veranda now connecting the living room and the room.
The night zones are dispersed and separated, are in different areas of the house, two rooms are on the ground floor with a shared bathroom and a master bedroom with an ‘Ensuite’ bathroom is on the upper floor.
The laundry room is optional in the closet or in the service room.,
