Student
home has been designed in two options. We propose
two options to design Student Home. Both the options satisfy, in different
ways, client’s requests: one more room, one more bathroom with low budget. In both
designs the extra-room is obtained dividing in two the living-room and, because
of the absence of any common room (except of the kitchen), bedrooms’ furniture
is organized trying to achieve a common space next to the entrance door. This
semi-private space can be used to welcome friends, to read or relax. It leads
to the actual private space where bed and closets. The main
difference between the two options is in the extra-bathroom’s location. OPTION1 The new
bathroom is situated next to the kitchen. The connection of the new wc with the
drain of the old one is realized by a pipe laid along the external wall at the
floor level. It’s not necessary to demolish any pavement. It’s enough to raise
a floor covering trough the kitchen. This
solution is less invasive and, therefore, less expensive (6439,95 €). OPTION2 In this
solution the new bathroom is situated to the corridor’s edge. the connection of
the new wc with the drain of the old one is rather more demanding than the
first option’s. It’s necessary to
demolish and raise room and kitchen’s
pavement to insert pipes with the suitable grade. This
solution is a little more invasive and, therefore, rather more expensive(8181,1 €).
