As I found your project so interesting I have been working on it for the past few days, here is our design and I’ll explain the potential and possible opportunities for you;

So, your main problem to solve is the four pillars (columns), we want to hide them in a proper and functional way; the two pillars which are near the kitchen added to the wall and ceiling by using decorative wooden beams as you may see in the perspective render so we can have an area for the dining table in addition to it, the best area and place for a dining table to serve the guests and your family should be near your kitchen; There is also an alternative for the wall in that specified area(dining) you can change the wall’s material and look by using a wall paper or cover the wall with decorative brick wall (you may see in the render as well; Around this area, you can put your other furniture such as tea table, sofas, library, console table and so on.
The third pillar which is in the same row as the two others are suitable for decorative shelves and the last one was covered with a modern-shaped fireplace to make the area cozy for the living room; so here is your tv room an appropriate place for the family to sit and watch movies together.
In the hallway leads to the door which there is a lifter behind we added a closet with a chance to have a seat for you so you can sit and wear your shoes the walls are covered with some modern mirrors and paintings or whatever you may like.

Lights:
We attached a light map alternative to make your space much more efficient, modern, and suitable for your family; if it is possible for you to add some pendant lamps and also hidden ceiling light around the dining and living room here we go, make sure to see the light map.
