I tried to keep in mind the customer interests while choosing furniture and basicly creating the whole atmosphere. I changed the parquet of the whole apartment I think that it needs to be more natural soft colour beige ot white. The material that I chose is wood-like fine porcelain,it is water proof and it can be used even in humid areas like bathroom . I wanted to create continuity between the spaces not to divide the area with the flooring like most of the people do. The space is one continues. I used different materials for the walls, ceramics tiles and mosaics for the bathrooms and just paint for the other rooms. My idea is to use FAUX painting or so called venetian, for the wall of the living room ,because it has some shadows by itself and different tones of colours so I thought that it could be a good proposal for making the existing door there just disappear visually and keeping it there without making additional effort to hide it (with panels).
My furniture choices are quite contemporary , minimal on the other hand with the use of a lot of wood which kind of a gives the sense of natural touch inside.I payed attention to create a complete comfort for the owner of the house within her bedroom and bathroom, while my furniture choises for the second bedroom, which is supposed to be a guest room, are more ordinary not that high class furniture. I thought in deep details all the usability of the furnture and taking advanntage as much as possible of the place that are positioned, taking into account the window position and the furniture orientation, as much as possible use of natural light in the space.
In some places i tried to reuse existing materials , like the old window frames which probably are going to trow away afterte construction, can be used as mirrors on the entrrance area.
I used different types of designer`s chairs playing with them around the space, meshed chair, white, black and etc.
My aim was to create a comfortable and cosy atmosphere for the client who would love to spent time in the kitchen where she loves to cook as mentioned in the brief but not only she would love to take advantage of each corner of her house.
