La conformazione dello spazio oggetto di intervento (più lungo che largo) consente una suddivisione degli spazi che detta il ritmo e separa, pur mantenendole in comunicazione, diverse aree di utilizzo.
A partire dal fondo, nella parte più larga a disposizione, c'è la zona conversazione/sala TV. Un angolo accogliente, caratterizzato da divani capienti e comodi, tanto spazio per libri e accessori e pareti di diverso colore rispetto al resto della stanza, che aiuta a sottolinearne lo spazio e a dargli calore. Se si vuole osare un po' di più e dare carattere, la tonalità scelta può essere cambiata per qualcosa di po' più intenso, ma sempre nelle sfumature del beige/marrone rossastro.
Dietro al divano troviamo la sala da pranzo: un tavolo quadrato per otto persone, servito da una madia che ospita piatti e quant'altro utile per apparecchiare la tavola. Le sedie scelte sono vere e proprie poltroncine che abbracciano i commensali.
Tra la cucina e la zona pranzo, infine, troviamo il pianoforte e un piccolo angolo lettura/relax, per chi vuole leggere vicino alla grande porta-finestra o ascoltare musica.
Punto fondamentale per questo progetto è l'illuminazione artificiale: attualmente sono presenti sono applique che non garantiscono una resa uniforme e causano molti punti d'ombra. In questa soluzione si è optato per sospensioni facilmente posizionabili senza dover fare tracce murarie: i cavi (tipo Creative Cables) diventano parte integrante del decoro, disegnando zig-zag o linee rigide a seconda dei gusti e della distanza che devono percorrere dall'attacco elettrico iniziale, e i lampadari possono fermarsi esattamente sopra l'area di interesse grazie ai passacavi a soffitto (semplicemente montabili con una vite).
I materiali scelti per questo intervento sono tutti naturali (legno, rattan, lino, argilla), con qualche sprazzo di metallo nero: conferiscono all'ambiente calore e neutralità, qualcosa che non stanca mai. Per una maggiore coerenza con gli spazi, si consiglia di cambiare sgabelli e illuminazione della cucina secondo lo stile del resto della stanza.
Per ammorbidire lo spazio si consigliano tende a tutta altezza (più il bastone è vicino al soffitto, più la stanza sembra alta), di due tipi: uno che faccia passare la luce e una che oscuri.
E, con tutta quella luce naturale, tante piante.

The conformation of the space (longer than wide) allows a subdivision of the spaces that dictates the rhythm and separates, while keeping them in communication, different areas of use.
Starting from the back, in the widest part available, there is the conversation area/TV room. A cozy corner, characterised by spacious and comfortable sofas, lots of space for books and accessories and walls of different colors compared to the rest of the room, which helps to emphasise the space and give it warmth. If you want to be a little more daring and give it character, the chosen shade can be changed for something a little more intense, but always in shades of beige/reddish brown.
Behind the sofa we find the dining room: a square table for eight people, served by a cupboard that houses plates and anything else useful for setting up the table. The chosen chairs are almost armchairs that embrace the diners.
Finally, between the kitchen and the dining area, we find the piano and a small reading/relaxation corner, for those who want to read near the large French window or listen to music.
The key point for this project is the artificial lighting: currently there are wall lamps that do not guarantee a uniform lighting and cause many points of shadow. In this solution we can find suspensions that can be easily positioned without having to make masonry traces: the cables (such as Creative Cables) become an integral part of the decoration, drawing zig-zags or rigid lines depending on the tastes and the distance they have to travel from the electrical connection, and the lamps can stop exactly above the area of interest thanks to the cable grommets on the ceiling (simply mountable with a screw).
The materials chosen for this intervention are all natural (wood, rattan, linen, clay), with some splashes of black metal: they give the environment warmth and neutrality, something that never tires. For greater coherence with the spaces, it is recommended to change the kitchen stools and lighting according to the style of the rest of the room.
To soften the space, full-height curtains are recommended (the closer the rod is to the ceiling, the taller the room appears), of two types: one that lets in light and one that darkens it.
And, with all that natural light, lots of plants.
