Thank you for the opportunity to design your home. I proposed 5 alternative designs. Alternative 1, 2 and 3 has similar layout plan, which is living room is placed in the space without opening, while kitchen and dining room are placed next to the opening near balcony. In the alternative 1 design, the partition chosen between kitchen and dining room is sliding doors. I proposed opaque glass material for the partition, which is not fully transparent but still allow lights to come in. In the render view there are two options of material finishing in the living room, the one with floor to ceiling mirror, and the other is wallpaper. For overall material finishing in all alternative designs, it is dominated with white, dark grey-black, and a little touch of wood material to add warmth to the rooms.
The difference between alternative 1 and 2 design is the partition. In the alternative 2 I chose folding door partition.
In the alternative 3 design, I changed the door position to the bedrooms and bathroom area. The living room layout is different with alternative 1 and 2 so that there is a space for existing cabinet (the small one) in the living room. I proposed L shape kitchen in this alternative design.
Alternative 4 and 5 designs have similarity, which is the layout of living room is placed near the balcony, and the kitchen is placed in the space which has no opening. In the alternative 4 I changed door position to the bedrooms and bathroom area like alternative 3. It will give more space for the kitchen with an island.
The difference between alternative 4 and 5 design are the door position and kitchen layout. In the alternative 5 design, I did not changed door position to the bedrooms and bathrooms area, so the kitchen is not as spacious as in the alternative 4, yet i give enough space for existing cabinet (e). I proposed longer dining table with 6 seats in the alternative 5 design.
