We are a couple and recently we decided to live in Palermo because we really love this wonderful city.
The apartment is located in a Baroque-style building dating from 1600 that is located in the Arab neighborhood called Kalsa.
The building was renovated a few years ago, both the façade and the interior.
This apartment is very bright, but when we visited during the evening we did not like electric lighting. The electric lighting should be improved to give more atmosphere.
The kitchen is very small with no window, there is only a small opening. The ceiling is made of wood. Next to the kitchen there is a small space used as a laundry room for washing machine. The wall separating the kitchen from the living room is made in plasterboard. Therefore, the door may be larger and transparent to get more light .In addition, we need new furniture in the kitchen. We do not like too modern or rustic style.
The living area floors are made in “italian terracotta” and the window door thresholds are of ancient typical sicilian “majolica” . The ceiling is wooden truss and there is a fireplace inn the living room. Attached are pictures which shows the characteristics of the apartment.
Also we have some furniture that we would like to set in the new apartment, for example: bookshelf with steel staircase that extent 4,2X3X0,3 meters see photo – dimensions are specified as L (length) XH (height) XW (wide) .
We also have some sofas. One in milky white skin, 3 seats and one in sand-colored cloth, 2 seats. We also have a chaise longue in milky white skin.
One chest of drawers English style and two Chinese coffered.
Two chandeliers as per attached photos.
One Arco-FLOS-floor-lamp- Castiglioni.
Definitively, apart from the kitchen, we do not want to change the layout of rooms or materials. We wish to place some of our furniture and receive suggestions to define the decor.
We look forward to receive some proposals.
