As you can see there are 4 (four) different versions of the floorplan of your future home. Basically, they are all similar and different, slightly from each other.
Some versions, however, need some masonry work more, but as you are still in the 1st phase of construction, that will not be the issue. Like adding new chimney or water sewerage pipes. All that new works are near external walls or stairs, and as you have basement under the floor, that should not make you troubles.
But, some versions do not need any further works, except dividing walls.
1. Ver A
Huge living room with dinning, new chimney to be added in lower right corner.
Parents room look to east, kids to west.
2. Ver B
Huge living room with dinning, new chimney to be added in lower right corner.
Parents room look to west, kids to east.
3. Ver C
Huge living room with dinning, new chimney to be added in lower right corner.
Parents room look to east, kids to west.
Bathroom moved near kitchen
4. Ver D
Living, dinning, kitchen all together, with visible Fireplace/ Owen/ Stove in the corner
Chimney to make new, or to use existing, but hard to make that.
One new whole room added at the right corner of house, study/office/ guest room.
*- Door intersection between kids room and Laundry room, is not an issue at all, even it looks bad, because only one person will use it, that kid who lives in that room. So, there will be no situation that some one comes from laundry/ bathroom and some comes into bedroom from the corridor. And even that happen, once in the time, only the doors will make crash, not humans, but as I already said, that would not happen at anytime.
