The premise of the project was to completely reorganize this small narrow apartment located in Moena, Trentino by creating a day zone in the lower level and a night zone in the upper levels. After a careful consideration of the existing zonal restrictions and regulations, especially for buildings located higher than 900m above m.s.l, where it is possible to have primary dwelling areas like living areas, bedrooms, etc with a ceiling height of 2.4m, bathrooms and service areas with a ceiling height of 2.2m and attic areas with a ceiling height of 2.2m, I have tried to accommodate the following:

LEVEL 1 - Living area with a fireplace, dining area and an open kitchen, and existing spiral staircase converted to a more comfortable U-shaped staircase
LEVEL 2 - 1 bedroom with a double bed & wardrobe, 1 bedroom with loft beds, 1 private bathroom and 1 shared bathroom
LEVEL 3 - 1 bedroom with a double bed & wardrobe in the attic with an addition of a roof window to satisfy the ventilation/illumination percentage for each room.
