Understanding the client's needs and the potentials and disadvantages of the space to be designed, we decided to generate a strategy based on an open space, where the architectural program would flow between the different areas without using walls. This way, natural lighting is guaranteed throughout the space and the perception of a larger apartment is created.

The east wall is designed as functional carpentry furniture that has plenty of storage space for both the kitchen/living room area and the bedroom. This wall becomes a closet and kitchen cabinets.

The bedroom is raised from the access level to provide some privacy from the social space in the home without compromising light or space.

The kitchen counter becomes a table, and then it turns into a desk area that surrounds the bedroom and completes the centerpiece.

The bathroom is completely remodeled. The sink is moved to the hall area of the bathroom, just behind the door that connects to the main space of the apartment. This hall is completely separated from the toilet area through a sliding glass door to make the most of the space. The shower area is enlarged and the bidet removed.

The goal was to please the client, taking into consideration their tastes and needs without compromising the architecture and functionality of the space.
