Ho considerato che la volontà dei clienti, data la decisione di abbattere i tramezzi dell'attuale cucina, con il relativo costo; fosse quello di guadagnare spazio allargando gli ambienti e conseguentemente luce. Pertanto richiudere tutto con le funzioni comunque necessarie fosse assolutamente impensabile, ma restava la necessità assoluta di avere tutte le fonzioni e le comodità necessarie: per cucina anzitutto, pranzo e salotto.
Ho quindi pensato ad un ambiente totalmente libero e molto spazioso e allo stesso tempo assolutamente funzionale; la cucina a vista era un problema da risolvere; pertanto ho pensato di sfruttare la lunghezza della parete per alloggiare all'interno di essa tutte le funzioni necessarie ( cucina, fuochi, forni, frigo, frigo bar ,dispensa, piatti, bicchieri, pentole ecc) tutto a scomparsa all'interno di questa parete/mobile dove con ante aperte compare ogni funzione e ogni spazio per conservare, lavorare e avere la casa in ordine, e ad ante chiuse diventa una parete con ante dipinte del colore del muro.
La seconda parete (lato ingresso) è nata per soddisfare ulteriori esigenze (cappottiera, biancheria, eventuele allarme, caschi, chiavi di casa, scarpe quotidiane o pantofole per casa).
Il terzo elemento ( il bancone/snack con la doppia funzione sia quale paino di preparazione della cucina con i due lavelli incassati nel piano stesso e che consente alla padrona di casa di lavorare guardando gli ospiti e non il muro come in genere capita e sia quale piano per uno snack veloce grazia all'ampiezza del piano e ai due sgabelli messi difronte ai lavelli verso il lato salotto; mentre la parte sottostante del bancone lato cucina viene usato per inserire i vari cassonetti per la differenziata sia un eventuale frigo bar per prendere un aperitivo informale con amici e ospiti.)
Ultimo elemento è stata la quinta a tutta altezza difronte alla zona salotto che potesse mascherare la TV e allo stesso tempo ulteriore contenitore per la casa.
Luci a taglio sui muri, sulle ante/parete ( che consentono anche di avere una ottima visione dell'interno quando le ante sono aperte), luce wall wash sulla parete di fondo e lampade da tavolo nella zona salotto consentono di avere sia la possibilità di illuminare a giorno quando necessario, sia avere degli ambienti più intimi illuminando solo dove e quando necessario al fine anche di un notevole risparmio energetico.
