This proposal is using existing elements and provides new quality and function. Layout consists of foyer that connects two apartments similar in size, both with its own terrace.
Apartment 1 A=53,4 m2 (+terrace A=4,4 m2)
Apartment 2 A=45,6 m2 (+terrace A=9,26 m2)
Each apartment is imagined to have hallway to welcome you with focal point (greenery or sculpture). From hallway you already see and feel the open space of the living room connected with kitchen and dinning room. Bedroom and bathroom are separate spaces, but with full and partly glass, frosted partitions they share the sun and light with the rest of the space.
It was very important to use existing windows and new skylights in bathrooms, and spread the light throughout the apartment using glass partitions.
Bathrooms and kitchens are concentrated in the central part near the existing installation shaft. Wall between two apartments can be used as thick installation wall for all adjustments for bathrooms.
