Renovation
The major task is the creation of four bedrooms. 2 Ideas are proposed.
APT1 29m²
Entrance/Corridor
A little entrance area well separated from the apartment. A wall divides entrance from the day area, and separates the staircase to the basement.
Day area
In the day area I divided this big room in two distinctive corners:
- kitchen: an exsquisite kitchen on a line with the eating/working area in front;
- living/sitting room: a rational living room, TV mounted on the wall, reading corner and bed/armchair for other 2 guests;
- dining room: a big dining table just perfect while eating/reading / working.
Night area
A little corridor serves the 4 bedrooms.
Bathroom 1
A daily/guest bath with separated areas: wash basin, shower and toilet. It can be used by 3 people at the same time! Washing machine and dryer in the toilet area.
Master Bedroom(4)
A suite like bedroom, fully natural light in all the areas. Big bed, library / wardrobe; private bath. Through a curtain system you can have light or not in the closet.
Bedroom1
A single bedroom on a line, desk in the corner near the window for perfect natural light to study.
Bedroom2
A single bedroom on a line, desk in the corner near the window for perfect natural light to study.
Bedroom3
A double bedroom on a line, desk near the window for perfect natural light to study.
In the 2nd IDEA ->
Bedroom1+2
A double bedroom studied as two singles: two capsule bed area closable by sliding doors. Desks always near the window for perfect natural light to study.
Basement
Cinema/Playroom/Guest bedroom
A room with multiple uses.
Laundry/mudroom
An useful mudroom to put shoes and jackets, like a changing room for all the family.
Close to the laundry. I put here another bathroom because for 5 people bathrooms are never enough.
Lighting solution
Led led led.
Skylight effect in the bathroom using LED panels.
Led stripes in the kitchens, under the wall units.
Ceiling lamps on the tables.
Ground lamps near sofas/armchairs.
Direct natural light
Here in evidence the light paths.
It's very important to have the rooms lightened by natural light.
Also the glass walking closet in the master bedroom can provide you a closet well lightened even if there’s no window.
