The place in its current condition, emanates a feeling of stillness characteristic of other times, charging it with its own character that inevitably exceeds the object value of the building itself.

The project seeks to value this character, creating an architecture that does not seek to be magnificent, but rather to highlight what was, and what can still be. The new attic accepts the geometry of the original building as its own, so as not to complicate the existing form. It is proposed that in the existing building its raw material is exposed in the lower levels, and the new attic level is finished in rustic white stucco, sincere in the image of the building its construction in time and not distort any image of the building completely new or make new look old.

The resulting building is a balanced mix between the new and the old, with a character of a small citadel rather than a building, with a rich variety of circumstances and atmospheres, which allow both activities of daily life and celebratory events, loaded with all that beautiful timeless, or eternal character.

Il luogo nella sua condizione attuale, emana una sensazione di quiete caratteristica d'altri tempi, caricandolo di un proprio carattere che inevitabilmente eccede il valore oggetto dell'edificio stesso.

Il progetto cerca di valorizzare questo carattere, realizzando un'architettura che non vuole essere magnifica, ma piuttosto evidenziare ciò che è stato e ciò che può essere ancora. Il nuovo attico accetta come propria la geometria dell'edificio originario, per non complicare la forma esistente. Si propone che nell'edificio esistente la sua materia prima sia esposta nei livelli inferiori, e il nuovo livello mansardato sia rifinito in stucco bianco rustico, sincero nell'immagine dell'edificio la sua costruzione nel tempo e non distorce completamente l'immagine dell'edificio nuovo o far sembrare vecchio il nuovo.

L'edificio che ne risulta è un equilibrato mix tra il nuovo e l'antico, con un carattere di piccola cittadella più che di edificio, con una ricca varietà di circostanze e atmosfere, che consentono sia attività della vita quotidiana che eventi celebrativi, carichi di tutto ciò che bellissimo personaggio senza tempo o eterno.
