Thank you for this interesting project. The design of your new appartement has taken into account that the livable area should be on the side where the big balcony is. This is why the kitchen and the living room is situated in this area. The kitchen and living room is visually parted by plants and lowered ceiling with extra storage space on top of it. The sleeping and the service area are situated on the side that is more quiet.
In the living room a custom made wall from plasterwork with LED lighting is created along the wall. The design of the wall also creates the separation of the living area and the study area, which consist of a custom made table that is situated in the cornice of the living room. Next to it, the custom made wall take into account spaces for bookshelf, while at the sitting area of the living room the shelfs are more flexible to put books or any other interior elements such as antiques, plants, pictures, TV, speakers, etc. The lower part of the shelf is also closeable to make it possible to use the space for extra storage.
The living area is separated by a transparant wooden partition in order to bring daylight in the hallway and a sense of openness from the hallway. At the same time the partition offers privacy towards the bathrooms and the bedrooms.
The master bedroom is situated on the other side of the kitchen area, and has access to the small balcony. It is also situated on the more quiet area of the appartement. The access to the balcony is surrounded with walk in closets on both sides and lowered ceiling for storage space. The master bedroom is also connected directly to the bathroom with toilet, bidet, a bath and wash basin.
The smaller bathroom with shower is furnished as such so that the washing machine and dryer is situated underneath a big washing basin with a lot of workspace on the tabletop. There is also a toilet for guests in the smaller bathroom.
The second bedroom can fit a double bed easily. In order to make the room beter useable, the wardrobe of the room is custom made and situated more into the current entry hallway. Even though the hallway is made smaller, it is still of good size and can easily fit some bikes, or baby strollers if needed, while still offering enough space to put your coats, shoes and other belongings.
