La soluzione di progetto che propongo prevede il mantenimento delle murature esistenti, mentre i solai del piano primo vengono ricostruiti anche in funzione della nuova collocazione della scala, posizionata ora a sinistra dell'ingresso in modo che sia ben visibile entrando.
Sono stati accolti tutti i desiderata richieste nel contest e sono stati mantenuti tali i disimpegni esistenti al piano terra e primo al centro del fabbricato.
I locali “nobili” sono tutti open space; le divisioni, se presenti, hanno un'altezza limitata e il solaio e la copertura in legno rimangono totalmente a vista (con l'eccezione della zona bagno e spogliatoio della camera ospiti).
La camera da letto dei figli è un open space ma, volendo, può essere creata una soluzione con una divisione a tutta altezza, magari meno interessante dal punto di vista estetico, ma più funzionale.
Sono state mantenute inalterate le aperture presenti sulle facciate (anche se occorrerà verificare i rapporti aeroilluminanti dei locali). L'unica apertura che viene modificata è quella al piano terra sul lato sud-ovest dove ho ricreato la simmetria originaria della facciata allargando l'apertura nella zona soggiorno.

The project solution that I propose provides for the maintenance of existing walls, while the floors of the first floor are reconstructed also according to the new location of the staircase, now placed to the left of the entrance so that it is clearly visible when entering.
All the required requests in the contest were accepted and the existing hallways on the ground floor and first floor in the center of the building were kept.
The "noble" rooms are all open spaces; the divisions, if present, have a limited height and the slab and the wooden roof remain totally visible (with the exception of the bathroom area and dressing room of the guest room).
The bedroom of the children is an open space but, if desired, a solution can be created with a full-height division, perhaps less interesting from an aesthetic point of view, but more functional.
The openings on the façades have been kept unaltered (even if it is necessary to check the aeroilluminating ratios of the rooms). The only opening that is modified is that on the ground floor on the south-west side where I recreated the original symmetry of the façade, widening the opening in the living area.
