The project proposal begins with the needs of the client.
The floor of the whole house is a light-colored floors to have the possibility
of combining the colors of existing furnishings. The two bathrooms, completely rethought, have also two
neutral colors, dark gray and brown, to coordinate the white of the health and
enhance the colors of the linens and everyday objects used by the inhabitants
of the house. Both spaces are organized in order to accommodate the large
shower, but the master bathroom has the most precious materials, such as stone
strips that is placed on two plates that collect more privacy a part of the
bathroom. The second bathroom instead is designed especially to be
comfortable and functional. A white cabinet hides the washer and dryer while
offering several shelves on which to store the laundry and cleaning products. To resolve the request about air conditioning, ceiling that
hides the pipes becomes an opportunity to explain the distinctive design of the
house: the presence of books. A winding ceiling becomes a library that starts from a niche
full of books and links the living room to the study, the two main areas
related to relax and reading.
