The solution I propose looks at the future usage of space, by dividing the house in two areas 1.day area 2.night area. By doing so you emphasis the space of each area and it divides the private form the exposed (public). the guests will not have access to the night area.
I also give a lot of importance to the kids room by crating an opened closed so the space is not suffocated and also crate a divided play area easily to control.
