La forma allungata del terreno sembra quasi suggerire un'unica direzione per quanto riguarda la forma del nuovo fabbricato: sarebbe semplice, infatti, inserire un unico corpo lungo e stretto, a seguire l'andamento del lotto. Ma, per evitare l'effetto di "casa corridoio", specialmente verso la zona notte, il volume si moltiplica e si divide fisicamente e funzionalmente—zona giorno e zona notte, collegate da un piccolo corridoio vetrato che garantisce protezione dagli agenti atmosferici, ma non taglia il disegno dei due volumi. Particolarità di queste due semplici "stecche" sono degli infissi in vetro che sporgono rispetto al filo delle pareti esterne, creando un gioco di incastri e delle sedute interessanti—sia nella zona giorno che nella sauna.
La zona giorno, quella più grande e alta, consta di un open space luminoso e accogliente, su cui si affaccia un soppalco che funge sia da studio che da terza camera da letto per gli ospiti, e che poggia su una piccola stecca di servizio (bagno, lavanderia, ripostiglio e guardaroba). Dall'open space si esce su un patio parzialmente coperto, che gode della vista del giardino. La zona notte, la più piccola e riservata, prevede al centro un bagno padronale con sauna, e le due camere da letto ai lati.
Al fine di garantire la continuità tra volume e pertinenze, come da regolamento edilizio locale, una parete della zona notte prosegue lungo un patio, per poi trasformarsi in una struttura in legno che segue il disegno della parete e sorregge una tettoia in vetro per i tre posti auto—che eventualmente può diventare anche parte ombreggiante nel caso si preferisca utilizzare un altro materiale; inoltre, abbraccia e protegge il ricovero attrezzi e il passaggio pedonale dalle auto alla casa. A questo proposito, gli ingressi carrabile e pedonale si muovono lungo la parte più stretta del terreno, garantendo privacy rispetto alla strada.
Il disegno del verde non è stato approfondito, come da richiesta, ma si consiglia un frutteto verso la parte più lontana del lotto, dei piccoli orticelli quadrati nello spazio tra zona giorno e zona notte, e del verde che accompagna il passaggio pedonale verso la casa.

The elongated shape of the lot almost seems to suggest a single direction as regards to the shape of the new building: it would be simple, in fact, to insert a single long and narrow body. But, to avoid a "corridor house" effect, especially towards the sleeping area, the volume multiplies and divides itself physically and functionally—living and sleeping areas, connected by a small glazed corridor that guarantees protection from atmospheric agents, but it doesn't cut the lines of the two volumes. The peculiarity of these two simple "slats" are the glass frames that protrude from the edge of the external walls, creating a game of joints and interesting seats—both in the living area and in the sauna.

The living area, the largest and highest volume, consists of a bright and welcoming open space, overlooked by a mezzanine that serves both as a study and as a third bedroom for guests, and which rests on a small service area (bathroom, laundry, closet and wardrobe). The open space leads out onto a partially covered patio, which enjoys a view of the garden. The sleeping area, the smallest and most reserved, features in the centre a master bathroom with a sauna, and the two bedrooms on either side.

In order to ensure continuity between volume and the exterior areas, as per local building regulations, a wall in the sleeping area continues along a patio, and then transforms into a wooden structure that follows the design of the wall and supports a glass canopy for the three parking spaces—which can possibly also become a shading part if you prefer to use another material; moreover, it embraces and protects the tool shed and the pedestrian passage to the house. In this regard, the vehicular and pedestrian entrances move along the narrowest part of the land, guaranteeing privacy with respect to the road.

The design of the greenery has not been detailed, as requested, but it is recommend an orchard towards the farthest part of the lot, small square vegetable gardens in the space between the living area and the sleeping area, and the greenery that accompanies the walkway to the house.
