Boiserie Of The South
alojamiento
70033 Corato BA, Italy
Hello everyone. We’re renovating a 180 sq m apartment and we some professional architectural advice on how to section the space, interior design, finishings and furniture.
Foreword:
We’re looking for a clean and linear design with the use of boiserie as you can see in the reference photos.
The boiserie that we love uses large space as chic decor elements, has no embellishments orbaroque splendor. Only simple and linear boiserie that would define the spaces.
The design should be embrace between the classic style of the interiors with the modernity that comes from the material (steel, wood, glass) and unique pieces of furniture.
The inspiration comes from elegant Parisian homes from early 1900s, with a touch of modernity by using marble, steel and glass. The large living area should be very bright and mostly located where there are balconies.
We’re keen to get projects that are unique and original but functional at the same time.
We love neutral colors, pure white for the walls, but you can play with the colors of the furniture and the metal material.
It’s absolutely important to have a an old style fireplace (as you can see in the photos), that must be located in the exact same place indicated on the floor plan and in the photos, since that’s where the exhaust pipe.
Kitchen/ living area
We’re looking for a modern style for the kitchen, preferably with a functional central island.
It should be a welcoming space for who visits, that allows the guests and who’s cooking to share the space comfortably. There should also be a large design table for dining.
We require large glass doors that would separate the spaces (as seen in the photos). We want the living area to be comfortable for friends and family. Basically the kitchen area and the living area should be inter connected and have their own individuality at the same time. We want the two spaces to unify and a become a single area when there are many people.
Storage Room
We require a small and practical storage room.
Main bathroom
We require a jacuzzi, mini sauna
Second bathroom and laundry with a shower.
Master bedroom with a walk-in closet
(away from the children’s room)
2 small bedrooms for the children
A small study
Outdoors
There’s a large balcony in the apartment where we wish to have a lot of plants and a storage.
We’d like to keep some classic touches (such as fishbone or French parquet flooring, boiserie, etc) but we’d like to detach completely with modern furniture (especially in the bathrooms and the kitchen). We’d also like to have a small closet, almost invisible near the entrance and small dressing room for putting on and off shoes. Hello everyone.
