Talking about “before” and “after”, the project approach was leaning heavily on white space to create a feeling of calm and understated style, different from the cozy space the house used to be. The white as a natural backdrop in walls, is generally also used for mid-wooden shelving. The use of white aims to look modern, clean and classic – creating thus a personal style for the family’s desires.

The vessel of the house, the corridor, due to the narrow space it possesses follows in all white coloring and furnishing, re-shaping then after into each personalized room.

With a carefully planned layout and a refreshing interior theme, the project and especially the living room which sits right to the entrance, manages to feel bright and spacious with interiors embracing a high contrasting materials, adopting a more casual style with comfortable mid-range tones. While on the right of the entrance sits the work-room, a light functional space, which includes a library together with a working desk and a reading “sofa” cabinet.

Whereas the main room of the house “the den” – is occupied by a plain white table surrounded by smothered wooden (grey colored) kitchen making the space calm and open, leaving enough space for the lounge area for kids and family to relax.

Just as minimalist as the rest of the home, all the bedrooms keep things streamlined and focused on rest and relaxation. Soft textures and white wooden paneling guide the room in simple furnishings, giving more focus to the functionality that break the feeling of calm.

With one word, the design proposal gives the house a total refreshing feel.
