The main objective was to create functional rooms, which can accomodate the needs of their owners, make use of the light and the view through the windows. The design
is focused on contemporary way of living, floating spaces, light and typical sea colours like yellow, orange, blue.
Yet, it aims at giving the inhabitants some privacy and individuality, which can be seen in the tranquility that defines the bedrooms and in the use of "personalised" lounge chairs.
Clear lines,volume-defining furniture and wallcolours as well as some bright and glossy accents are present in the project.
Most of the existing walls are preserved. The position of the bathrooms and kitchens is the same as or very close to that of the existing baths.
The chosen furniture is multifunctional and serves as a statement of modern design (each apartment has a few pieces of furniture with character that define the space). Shelves, storage, beds and night drawers are usually in wood or white colour. Sofas and lounge chairs are either grey/white or use an accent colour, that is different for every room. They bring life to the space and also matching different seating gives personality to the living space - every inhabitant can choose their own chair. Kitchen shelves are in white with a stone countertop and ceramic accent backsplashes. Chrome is an accent material, used in coffee and console tables, lamps and some chairs's legs. Finally, lighting plays a big role in the design. Unique lamps attract attention in the living and kitchen areas. Soft and transparent lights create relaxing mood in the bedrooms.
