The project proposes the creation of a "granny flat" in a large HOUSE tailored to the requests and lifestyle of the owners. Parallel to the project, the open space living area of ​​the "main house" was redeveloped. The proposed style is contemporary: simple shapes characterized by light and neutral colors are in harmony with the use of wooden inserts in the furnishings, colored paintings and wallpaper (selectable in relation to personal taste). The common thread wants to enhance the existing architecture, a close relationship of the living areas between internal and external spaces with direct relationship to natural elements such as the water of the swimming pool and the vegetation that surrounds the house: the external area is experienced as a continuation of the interior space without interruption, both on a functional and visual level. The design concept embraces the philosophy of lighting design to emphasize both natural and artificial brightness, with a preference for indirect LED lighting to create suggestive atmospheres especially in the evening.
