The aim of the proposal is to create a new modern bathroom with careful choice of materials and colours to suggest delicate and soft atmosphere.
Project can be described by the following principal points:
- DRYER _ Huge attention has given to position of the new dryer, as initial prescription;
position whose choice is driven by the most important thing regarding this machine,
“dimensions”. The project tries to give less place as possible to the dryer, so it has been
chosen to put it inside the cabinet, which is a wooden custom furniture. In a depth of
only 55 cm and height of 85 cm take place REX RDC3150, a modern dryer with small
dimension but strong capacity, buried inside the furniture.
- WALL / FLOOR _ Ceramica BARDELLI has been chosen for wall and floor covering;
Minoo Collection has been chosen for entrance area and shower; Colours Collection for
toilet area; Colorado Collection for shower floor. Every collections respect 20x20 cm and
40x40 cm format, with a preference of bright and delicate tone such as pearl white or
tortora grey.
- SANITARY _ Toilet uses a direct flush which is put inside the wall with a small depth
(Geberit case). There is no problem with the new position of the toilet instead of the
actual, because tube can reach discharge along the wall. Project proposes lifted up
toilets.
- SHOWER _ The aim of the project is to create a huge shower instead of the actual bath
tub placed in the middle of the room. This new one takes place at the bottom with an
area of much more than one metre square. There will be no problem with the position of
the window which remain at a sufficient distance from the pan.
- LIGHT _ Thanks to a 2,93 m height it has been possible to create a new recessed
ceiling (down to 2,70 m) with strip led and diffuse light. This new roof doesn’t cover the
entire bath floor but only the entrance and the toilets one. Direct illumination is
guaranteed by circular little spot (Deltalight MiniDiro) and two mirror lamp for make-up
(Ebir Irene S3).
