Il bagno si trova in una stanza moderatamente lunga e stretta, per questo motivo si è deciso di utilizzare un rivestimento per le pareti che accentui questo carattere: le piastrelle in ceramica sono infatti di un formato rettangolare allungato, le pareti hanno a metà altezza una fascia più chiara (sempre in piastrelle di un formato più ridotto) che corre lungo tutto il perimetro della stanza.
Il pavimento è stato pensato in gres porcellanato effetto legno chiaro, per favorire l’illuminazione della stanza e sempre nell’ottica di accentuare la lunghezza dell’ambiente.
I colori scelti sono volutamente tenui per dare un tono più rilassante alla stanza. Per muovere questo effetto si potrebbe pensare ad inserire un termoarredo di fianco ai sanitari, dal colore vivace, in sostituzione del termosifone sotto la finestra,
Come potete vedere è stato aggiunto una porzione di muro al quale si appoggia il nuovo box doccia che sostituirà la vasca. Nella nicchia creata tra la porta e questo muro si può sistemare un mobile che contenga la lavatrice e gli altri oggetti della casa.
All’ingresso del bagno il soffitto è stato ribassato per non dare l’effetto “pozzo” al bagno che questi ambienti stretti e lunghi sono portati ad avere. Questo controsoffito in cartongesso è utile anche per l’inserimento di faretti.
Nonostante il committente non abbia posto veti sullo spostamento dei sanitari si è deciso di lasciare il water al proprio posto per evitare ulteriori spese per i lavori, visto che in quella posizione non crea alcun problema.
