Here is my idea for redesigning your spaces.
There is an open kitchen/ dining/ living room on entrance to the house. Then the hallway leads to both the bedrooms and main bathroom. A utility space is provided in the hallway to stack the washing machine and dryer. The main bedroom is 14 m2 and has an ensuite in it. The existing windows in the main bedroom can be changed to french doors for the external guests. I have attached some renderings.
