The aim of the project was to create a functional, cozy and comfortable house, where you can spend quality time with your friends and family. The house is established as a two-story building and a basement, meeting all building code regulations and client’s desires. The main floor is lifted 140 cm above the ground, making it possible for sunlight to flood into the rooms on basement level. In order to provide wheelchair access I have provided a spot for a wheelchair lift if needed. The second floor and basement can be easily transformed into rental units by separating the stairs from the main floor with an interior door.
The interior consists mainly of light wood floor and surfaces, soft materials and colors with a hint of bright colors in some of the furniture element, creating a calm and beautiful environment. There is also a covered pool on the back deck spanning its length and giving a cozy outdoor area overlooking the lovely backyard.
