Thank you for the amazing challenge. Small spaces have a lot of potentials. It’s the right design that can define the right functionality for it.
I totally understand your sacrifice for your son as a single father to provide a space that could work for both of you. And I don’t consider your act selfish cause you see those potentials so I created spaces to devote to you and your son the private sleeping areas.
I know moving kitchen and demolition of the walls can be costly so I based my design on the minimum demolition of the walls and keeping the kitchen the place it is.
Only the fridge should be moved. Also you have two options to choose from. And as I wanted to show my ideas better I created the 3d of your work for better mutual understanding.
