In general, the zoning layout is still similar to the previous layout due to the technical limitation.
I designed it as compact and functional as possible and here is the design. The bathroom door is near the entrance door side, so the other walls can be used for other functions.
On the entrance hall I put shoe rack and other storage cabinet to prevent clutter due to limited storage space.
As for the kitchen, you can decide if you want the bar table (as like in the design) or do not use any bar table at all to give even more free space.
In the design I put two areas as wardrobe, one is near the bathroom wall and the other on the bedside. And the divider between living / sleeping area can be wooden partition or glass partition, depend on your budget and preference.
For flooring, you can use light parquet laminate floor in the general area, and simple color patterned tile in the kitchen and porch. I would recommend to use a lot of light color and bright lighting to give a more spacious feel.
