Gentilissima Famiglia,
Siamo qui ad illustrare la nostra proposta progettuale in riferimento alle richieste di ampliamento e ammodernamento del vostro appartamento.
Partendo dall’ingresso dove abbiamo scelto di tenere come entrata dal vano scala quella del nuovo appartamento, in questo modo l’ingresso risulterà in posizione più centrale rispetto alla distribuzione degli ambienti creando una maggior pulizia dei percorsi.
Si ricava così anche un piccolo ingresso che può ospitare un appendiabiti, una console per le chiavi con annessa scarpiera una fioriera, un ambiente ridotto ma che ha l’importante funzione di filtro tra l’esterno e l’intimità dell’appartamento.
Da questo ingresso si entra nella zona del living dove il muro, di divisione delle due unità abitative originarie, viene demolito lasciando il posto ad un unico grande ambiente molto luminoso che diventa il protagonista della vita della famiglia; ospitando la zona divano/televisione e libreria e allo stesso tempo il tavolo per i pranzi e cene con gli ospiti.
La zona del Living è il punto centrale di smistamento di tutti i percorsi della casa; con cui dialoga in maniera armonica dando una sensazione di maggior grandezza degli spazi. Sensazione amplificata dalla finestra, dalla porta finestra con balcone e dall’affaccio sulla cucina anch’essa illuminata naturalmente e divisa dal soggiorno non con una parete piena ma con pannelli vetrati che permettono questo passaggio di luce senza compromettere la promiscuità degli odori e delle funzioni caratteristici dell’ambiente cucina.
La posizione del tavolo del soggiorno permette una facilità di dialogo con la cucina, per agevolare il servizio, e per lasciare una volta che si passa alla zona divano ogni ambiente con i suoi dovuti spazi e funzioni; un Living con cucina annessa che quasi in un unico spazio riesce a fondere tre funzioni riportando la sensazione di grandezza su ogni spazio che non vive nel suo ritaglio ma è partecipe di un vero openspace.
La cucina è studiata per assolvere con le sue dotazioni alle esigenze della famiglia numerosa e ci è premuto mantenere un tavolo che potesse ospitare tutti; immaginando la sensazione di conviviale dove il cuoco/a abbia la compagnia degli altri menbri della famiglia mentre è ai fornelli e trovino spazio in una comoda tavola come a noi italiani piace.
Inoltre alla cucina abbiamo annesso, in maniera diretta, un locale dispensa organizzato con scaffalature per le provviste e per gli attrezzi da lavoro; la mancanza della porta è una scelta voluta per agevolare il via vai di chi si occupa della preparazione ma può essere sempre rivista con l’inserimento di una porta scorrevole.
Dal Living abbiamo l’accesso diretto ad uno dei tre bagni con dotazioni sufficienti per essere usato come servizio di cortesia per gli ospiti o velocemente dai figli senza dover raggiungere la loro zona notte.
Un piccolo disimpegno filtra la zona notte della coppia alla quale abbiamo riservato una generosa camera da letto competa di dotazione di armadi e con accesso diretto al secondo bagno. Nella camera, la prima cosa che si nota è il muretto attrezzato in cartongesso che abbiamo messo come testata del letto e fatto proseguire per tutta la parete fino a diventare scrivania/console trucco, questo ci ha permesso di rettificare l’inclinazione della parete.
Il bagno a servizio della camera ha un lavabo in appoggio su una console in muratura rivestita in resina cementizia sulla quale si appoggia, al di sopra del rivestimento ceramico, uno specchio in tutta lunghezza; per completare le suggestioni date dai materiali abbiamo inserito una doccia di ampie dimensioni con cristallo trasparente e pedana del piatto doccia in legno di teak.
La scelta di posizionare la camera da letto matrimoniale vicino alla cucina e dotarla di bagno personale ci è stata suggerita immaginando che la coppia di genitori sia, rispetto ai figli, l’ultima ad andare a dormire dopo avere fatto le faccende in cucina o rilassarsi sul divano e separare la loro camera dalle altre permette a queste attività di non disturbare il sonno dei figli anche in presenza di ospiti.
Dal Living in direzione opposta rispetto alla cucina abbiamo l’accesso allo studio e al corridoio verso la zona notte dei figli.
Lo studio attrezzato con una scrivania e una libreria a tutta larghezza è stato studiato per permettere l’apertura del divano letto e diventare così una camera per ospiti indipendente dalla zona notte dei figli e dei genitori ma servita comunque dal bagno del living.
Il corridoio che conduce alla zona notte dei figli si affaccia sul locale lavanderia ed è accompagnato per tutta la sua lunghezza da un armadiatura a parete, ed infine termina attraverso una porta in un disimpegno dal quale accediamo alle camere dei figli e al bagno.
Le due camere doppie da letto sono disposte simmetricamente rispetto al bagno per agevolare il servizio da entrambe, di fronte al bagno stesso abbiamo ricavato un altro armadio in nicchia per il cambio biancheria. Entrambe le camere hanno ampie dotazioni di armadio e una scrivania doppia per poter studiare, la disposizione scelta consente di avere due letti al piano per ciascuna camera senza dover ricorrere a scomodi letti a castello.
Per la pavimentazione di tutto l’appartamento si è scelto un legno di rovere naturale tranne per gli ambienti bagno che sono in resina cementizia e grès.
Si è scelto poi di trattare i soffitti con controsoffitti in cartongesso che si abbinano agli stucchi originali e a proposte in stile, abbiamo anche previsto sempre nel cartongesso un sistema di illuminazione di luce diffusa .

Dear Family,
We're here to illustrate our design proposal in relation to requests for expansion and modernization of your apartment.
Starting from the entrance, where we have chosen to take as entrance from the stairwell that of the new apartment, in this way the input will result in a more central position with respect to the distribution of the environments, creating a greater cleaning of the paths.
This will give you even a small hall that can host a hanger, a console for keys with attached shoe a planter, a reduced environment but which has the important function of a filter between the outside and the intimacy of the apartment.
From this entrance you enter the living area where the wall dividing the two units originating, is demolished, giving way to a single large room very bright which becomes the protagonist of the life of the family hosting the area sofa / television and library and at the same time the table for lunches and dinners with guests.
The Living area is the central point of marshalling all paths to the home, which interacts harmoniously giving a feeling of greater magnitude spaces. Feeling amplified by the window, the door window with balcony and kitchen on dall'affaccio also naturally lit and divided from the living room with a full wall but not with glass panels that allow this passage of light without compromising the promiscuity of odors and functions characteristic the kitchen.
The position of the table in the living room enables ease of dialogue with the kitchen, to facilitate the service, and to leave once you pass to any room couch with her due spaces and functions; Living with an adjoining kitchen that almost a single space manages to combine three functions bringing the feeling of greatness of any space that does not live in his crop but partakes of a truly open space.
The kitchen is designed to perform with its equipment to the needs of a large family and we pressed maintain a table that could accommodate everyone, imagining the feeling of where the friendly chef / to have the company of other family members here while it's in the kitchen and find space in a convenient table as we Italians like.
In addition, we have attached to the kitchen , in a direct way , an organized pantry with shelving for supplies and equipment for the job , the lack of the door is a deliberate choice to facilitate the comings and goings of those involved in the preparation, but can always be revised with the insertion of a sliding door .
From the Living have direct access to one of the three bathrooms with sufficient funding to be used as a courtesy service for guests or children without having to get quickly from their sleeping area.
A small hallway filters the bedroom of the couple which we have reserved a generous endowment compete bedroom closets and direct access to the second bathroom . The decision to place the master bedroom next to the kitchen and provide it with personal bathroom was suggested to us by imagining that the pair of both parents , compared with children, the last to go to sleep after doing chores in the kitchen or relax on the sofa and separate them from the other room allows these activities do not disturb the sleep of children even in the presence of guests.
From Living in the opposite direction of the kitchen have access to the study and hallway to the bedroom of the children .
The studio is equipped with a desk and a bookcase full-width has been designed to allow the opening of the sofa bed and become a guest room separate from the sleeping area of children and parents, but nonetheless served from the bathroom of the living .

Both bedrooms have large allocations double wardrobe and a desk to study , the choice available allowing you to have two beds on the floor of each room without the need for uncomfortable bunk beds.
For the flooring throughout the apartment you chose a natural oak except for bathrooms that are vitrified and resin cement .
It was decided then to treat the ceiling with plaster ceilings that match the original stucco and proposals in style, we have also planned in plasterboard always a lighting system of diffused light.
