Supervising the process of devising Revitalization of Distressed Urban Fabrics' plans that were being designed for Tehran Province cities (including Baghershahr, Baghestan, Chahardangeh, Damavand, Qarchak, Qods, Golestan, Shahriar, Malard, Nasimshahr, Pakdasht, Robat Karim and Varamin) by contracted consulting engineering firms in order to facilitate the quality of life for inhabitants of those distressed urban parts.

In August 2012, a series of devastating earthquakes happened in East Azarbayjan, Iran, that caused too many casualties and left many inhabitants homeless. I joined a voluntary team lead by Pouya Khazaeli in Rai Studio, a Tehran based architectural firm, to design a shelter suitable for the cold and harsh climate of East Azarbayjan and address the urgent needs of people of the region. This cooperation was resulted in designing budgeted shelters that could be built without prior knowledge and specific skills, using only in-situ materials to build. The results were published in the Architecture for Humanity website and Honar-e Memari magazine in Iran.
