Working independently or with Consultant, Architects & Engineers, designs and prepares, and coordinates implementation of projects, oversees the work, and administers consultant construction. Aiding the Lead Architect with all aspects of design development. Responsible for the design development of projects from concept to completion. Responsible for all local authority compliance and code compliance. Responsible for all technical detailing of the project. Responsible for meeting the brief from an operational and functional perspective. Responsible for reviewing the project specification under the direction of the Lead and Design Architect. Review of all drawing packages to ensure full coordination and technical excellence is achieved prior to issue. Assist the design architect with sourcing suitable materials and construction systems in line with the architectural design intent. Responsible for issuing all drawings, specifications, documentation, etc. Ensuring correct procedures are in order and issue registers are up to date and accurate. Monitor and ensure smooth progress for all local authority submissions. Assist the Technical Manager and provide ideas relating to project implementation to enable work to become more efficient, better coordinated, etc. Ensure sub-consultants requirements are adequately incorporated in drawing packages.
