Site Chapel seeks isolation and solitude of the user, encrusted in the
landscape erosion.
The arrangement of three walls parallel to each other and to the horizon, create the missing piece of Pessegueiro Island and act as a physical and ideological barrier. The horizontal planes grant spatial and functional variety, achieving different
degrees of contention
for reflection in solitude.
The user experiences the progressive insulation until he reaches at
“inner space” and only
finds himself with
“wall & sea”.
