This is an apartment of 220 sq.m. which is located near the sea side in Thessaloniki. Designed by the architectural team T.SQUAREARCHITECTS and considering the professional status of the owners, who set as the basic premise integrating piece of their professional space into their home. For this reason, an office created in direct contact with the living spaces. The basic requirement was that this space is part of everyday life and, when necessary, can become independent. That’s why it is designed in such a way so as to diffuse boundaries between living and work areas. This separation is made with a translucent sheet metal construction, which offers an exceptional style distinguishing while integrating it with the rest of the house. The apartment was designed following the contrast of white and black which is mitigated by the addition of a natural material such as wood flooring in natural color.

Each part of the apartment is designed in such a way as to have hidden utility rooms which generate a surprise to visitors, as the entrance, where behind a wooden special construction is the dressing room of the house.

In the bedrooms, the space is treated as a single box where walls, ceilings and closets are lined with the natural material kourasanit, in the same white color. By using the same material, the boundaries are diffused, as well as the uses of the room. This achieves a sense of calm and consolidation of space simultaneously.

Major role in the daily life of the house play the two large bathrooms. One of the two is part of the master bedroom and follows the same color and material with a focus at a calm atmosphere. It also includes a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.
