The project for Volandri's home involves the spaces reorganization, following customer's requests , and the lighting, furniture and material selection.
I have created wide and bright spaces where customers can have good time with some friends (it's possible open the kitchen to create a big one space with dining room and living room) or alone ( their bedroom is like an hotel suite with its own bathroom and walk-in closet).
The lighting and air conditioning has been located inside a false ceiling, but the pre-existent radiators would be useful and covered .
The furniture selection comes from some of the best design furniture companies in the world except some pieces that I have created for this own project.
I have chosen warm and bright colors for this house according customers requests but I have decided to create some contrast adding dark colors and strong texture too. I have mixed-up poor and natural materials (like wood and resin) with rich and elegance materials (like brass and glass) to create the right atmosphere for a young couple who will live in one of the best zone of Rome.
The all three terraces will be screened off (for privacy). The first, near the kitchen, will be a real laundry zone. The second, near the living room, also if it's not very big, will become a relax zone to have breakfast in the morning or just have a drink at the end of the day!
