The defined position of the object and the structural assembly represent a specific design challenge in shaping and forming a functional object.
The house consists of two apartments with separate entrances and swimming pools. The apartments consist on the ground floor: an entrance, a multifunctional living room with a kitchen and dining room, a closet, an anteroom, a bathroom, a bedroom and a staircase leading to the first floor, to the attic where there are two rooms, a bathroom, and a laundry in the closet.
The multifunctional living room with dining room and kitchen is completely oriented towards the yard where there is a swimming pool with a defined space for outdoor activities. The opening, the sliding door, from the floor to the ceiling, visually erases the physical boundaries of the interior and exterior space, so that the relatively small living room, in this way, integrates the exterior space.
Night zone with one room for two people, on the ground floor, and on the first floor with two rooms for two people each. The rooms are designed to accommodate optional single beds or double beds. The windows in the rooms are from floor to ceiling so that the rooms have optimal daylight.
The materialization of the object is defined in two zones, the ground floor is externally shaped with properly cut white stone slabs in a white tone common in the Mediterranean, giving it a warm feel and romantic look. The first floor is finished with a plastered facade in a related white tone of the white stone. The roof covering is ceramic tiles. All wooden elements, inside and outside are made of oak. Bathrooms are designed in mix color terrazzo, dominate white, with elements of gray, orange and black and white sanitary ware.
