Dear Client,

considering your needs and wishes I created a new layout plan for your apartment. I aimed to reach the maximum result with minimal changes to the original walls.
Some notes about the rooms:
1. Entrance hall. I crated a division wall to separate the kitchen zone, the length of it might vary according to your liking. If you would like to have more light in this area I recommend that you put big mirrors on the wardrobe doors. This will create an illusion of bigger hall and bring in more light by reflecting it. I noticed you have a central unit box on the wall (behind the wardrobe). My suggestion is that you make the wardrobe without the back panel, so if needed you can always reach the box. Since the hall is quite spacious, I think it would be nice to have a carpet, but it’s entirely up to you.
2. Living room/Kitchen. It’s quite a narrow space (5m) to fit both kitchen and living room zones, but it is possible. My suggestion is that you place a sofa and a dining table pushed together. I have used this option in my previous projects and it works well. It saves a lot of space. Also, you can watch TV while eating and be in contact with those who are sitting on the sofa.
3. WC1. I think the entrance to the WC (3-1.) is a perfect place for laundry. It is always better to have both a bathtub and a shower in one flat than two showers, so I suggested you place a bathtub instead of a shower. I removed the bidet in this WC, one bidet is really enough for the family (in WC2).
4. WC2. No changes here. A shower and a bidet were placed in this room. Please note both toilets are shown with their flush systems built into the walls. This is up to you, you can choose any design you want.
5. Master bedroom. It is quite spacious, so there was enough space for the book shelves and reading zone and even makeup desk, if you want it. The walk in closed was also designed according to your wishes.
6. Work/Guest room. This room became smaller because of the closed, but it would be perfect as a workroom (study), or a small guest room (in this case place a sofa-bed instead of work desk and shelves).
7. Child’s room. This room was the most challenging because of its unusual shape. I think it is better to have a bed at the opposite end of the window, because no light is needed for sleeping. This is why I had to move the door, placing the bed along the shorter wall (this makes the room feel shorter). Near the window is the best place to have a work desk and a play zone. A tip: when choosing the floors in this room, look for something long and narrow shaped (tiles, PVC or wooden floor) and place it in the direction I showed on the plan. This will make the room feel not so long and narrow.
I hope I was able to improve the layout of your flat. I believe the spaces are very functional now. I wish you all the best!

Best regards,
Your designer
