The project implies a new placement of rooms in order to increase natural lighting and provide flexibility for the rental of the apartment. The proposed solution consists of: -Living room, kitchen and dining area designed as an open space to the North, connecting with a room that can be used as a bedroom in case of rent shared (students, workers) or as a study or bedroom for guests/kids in case of rent to a family or to other users; the grand opening with a sliding panel allows users to use both rooms at the same time, which greatly improves global illumination of the flat and leaves the access to the balcony from the living and dining area. -Access to the closet included in continuity with furniture of the kitchen. -Entrance is partially separated from the open space area by a cabinet with shelves corresponding to the beam on the ceiling and preserves the function of hallway for access to the bathroom from the living room and from the bedroom; use of non-trasparent translucent glass doors to get the light from the windows in the South to the entrance by maintaining the privacy of bathroom and bedroom. -Master bedroom to the South/courtyard (quiet side). -Redesign of the bathroom using the entrance of the bathroom to place the sink and washing machine and keeping walls and existing plumbing and electrical systems to reduce costs. -Modular furniture choosen by catalog.
