The project proposal focuses on remodeling and designing an outdoor area, in order to achieve a functional and fluid terrace space.
The design aims to create three main open areas, surrounded by greenery and enclosed with glass and wood partitions. The first space is the lounge area with a couch, two armchairs, a coffee table with a customized Vietri table top and two swing chairs. The second space is the dining area, with a central dining table that can host up to 10 people. The third space is the kitchen area with an electric pizza stove, kitchen counters, a storage area and a set of benches.
In terms of materiality, the design intention is to use a combination of stone, ceramics, wood and exposed concrete finishes, with earth tones and neutral chromatics that would be highlighted by the natural and artificial lighting.
In conclusion, the design intention is to be simple and non-intrusive, with an open-plan strategy that results in a space that is both operational and aesthetic.
