The main intent that moves the project is the rational and effective division of a limited space enhancing the few sources of natural lighting. The length development of the basement and the double entry (public and private) in two opposite areas have naturally outlined a division of space between doctor and patients. For the former, the doctor's ergonomics and working privacy are privileged, separating it from the common area for waiting patients. Instead they enjoy a naturally lit room as well as the bathroom (suitable for disabled people), through the introduction of a small window located high to ensure privacy. A filter room is introduced to mediate the waiting room and study, which in turn is divided into two areas by a light wall. This partition, which can disappear in favor of some furniture, is designed to be removable and limited to a height of 2 meters to divide the ambulatory room from the office area, in order to allow the arrival of a limited amount of natural light to that area. of care. The light in question is made possible by a new window at the same height to the existing one, but located in the office area, to improve the quality of life and work of the doctor. A small closet has also been created at the bottom of the space so that it can be quickly accessed both for work and for private use as it adjoins the corridor leading to the house.
