The concept of the whole design revolves around, how to share the common staircase with tenants while minimizing its impact on clients privacy. Whatever the constraints, no one wants an unknown person to have access to your space - be that physical or visual.
So firstly the staircase has been isolated by removing toilet door from stair and giving and internal access to allow free movement. Secondly a temporary internal staircase has been proposed. This two zones created are inevitable. But this scheme allows the client to best utilize space for both entertainment or sleeping. For tenants as well, the rooms and toilet have been designed to be private.
