The goal of this contest was to implement Fireplace and organize seating around it. It was also requested to implement table for at least 6 persons.
Since the room is relatively small to put all of the requested furniture, i decided to put slim seating sofa as well as slim chairs with support seating with two ottomans so I can save space and not overload it with big, bulky furniture. I also needed to save space for big dining table. I placed the fireplace near the right window, allowing the tv stand to be formed next to it. With that I formed room central motive by integrating tv area with fireplace while enabling Sofa and chairs to have direct line on sight on both. The dining table is placed on the right wall and forms a dining area.It is connected also with fireplace and near window. I wanted all seating to face windows and fireplace(as much as possible). With the black wallpaper I wanted to suggest the integrity of dining area. The stone wall behind fireplace aims to give feeling of natural environment and give co-relation with the fireplace(stone and fire). I also introduced plaster edge all around the rooms ceiling aiming to decorate and create clear line between walls and ceiling. Rosette and chandelier are presenting clear symbols of classic period and giving feeling of luxury as well.
